Development hardware intro
We offer development kits containing what you need to get started with your Zigbee development. Our kits make all features and GPIOs of the SoCs available to you, including NFC. All kits have LEDs and buttons, enabling you to get output and give input. Our kits come with a SEGGER on-board J-Link debugger.
We also offer the nRF52840 Dongle. It is complementary hardware to the nRF Connect for Desktop tool. It supports Bluetooth Low Energy, Bluetooth mesh, Thread, and Zigbee. It can be a low-cost alternative when doing large-scale testing, or when size is important. Do note that it does not have a debugger on board. We recommend using the development kit for development.
Our Power Profiler Kit II (PPK 2) is the next thing to look at. The PPK 2 is a tool made to measure current consumption. Use it with any of our development kits, prototyping platforms, or your own designs. PPK2 works all the way from sub-µA to 1 A and can log up to 500 days as is.
